A Little Compassion, Inc. has hosted a Water Lantern Celebration annually since 2019. The event takes place at Plattwood Park in Deep River each spring. With the theme, “Lighting the Way for People of All Abilities” – ALC invites all to celebrate with us while lifting up people who experience neurodiversity and physical disabilities every day.
Water Lantern is a beloved, uplifting community event for all ages. This inclusive and accessible event has a special focus on the event being sensory friendly and accepting. Each participant receives a lantern to decorate with their own messages of hope, unity, and togetherness. When released onto the pond, the glowing lanterns create a stunning display of light and color.
The event is family friendly with food, fun, music and lots of great vibes. Water Lantern Celebration takes place in the spring. Check back here for details when our 2024 date is released.
