Hello Creative Minds

November 28th, 2023

GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good by supporting nonprofits across the globe. We hope you will help A Little Compassion Empower Neurodiverse Young Adults to Soar to New Heights – You will double your impact this year with a generous dollar for dollar match from our Board Chair, Mr. Steve Little. Your support can change lives!

I’d like to introduce you to The Possibilities Boutique at The Nest Coffee House in Deep River, CT! It is a special place where artists and makers of all abilities showcase and sell their work. “Possibilities” was born during the pandemic to support neurodiverse artists as part of A Little Compassion (ALC)’s mission.
Over the last four years, we have helped many new and established artists show and sell their work while gaining visibility and making sales. We’re so proud of what we have been able to accomplish so far. With the support of several grants, we are ready to take it to the next level with a new

Artists' Nest pilot program that will:

  • Connect established artists with emerging neurodiverse artist in a mentoring relationship to support their growth;
  • Offer mentors and mentees space in our Possibilities Boutique, where they will display and sell their work in a supportive and nurturing environment; and
  • Hold an Artists’ Nest Show at our Lantern Illumination Celebration on May 18th, where they will showcase their art and have a taste selling at a public event.
The program is entirely free for all participants although mentors will be paid with lots of good vibes and a healthy dose of all the feels of doing good deeds. Check out our flyer!
