GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good by supporting nonprofits across the globe. We hope you will help A Little Compassion Empower Neurodiverse Young Adults to Soar to New Heights – You will double your impact this year with a generous dollar for dollar match from our Board Chair, Mr. Steve Little. Your support can change lives!

5th Annual Lantern Illumination Celebration 2024
Saturday, May 18th
Valley Regional High School - Deep River, Connecticut 6:30-9:00 pm
Join us for our 5th annual Lantern Illumination Celebration event celebrating individuals of all abilities.
Our 5th annual Lantern Illumination Celebration: Lighting the Way for People of All Abilities, is a community event which lifts up the local neurodiverse young folks we serve as well as all community members who experience the world differently. Participants at our Lantern Illumination Celebration decorate eco-friendly paper lanterns with pictures, poems, and words of hope and add them into a grand display of light for all to see. Here, young people, parents, and peers gather to celebrate minds of all kinds. Additionally, this celebration will also showcase the artistic light of the young neurodiverse creators as they share their artistic spirit and creativity with the greater community in our brand new Neurodiverse Artists’ Showcase. We hope that you will join us in creating this festival of light and inclusion.
Lantern Illumination Celebration 2024 is a pay-what-you-can, in-person community event brought to you by A Little Compassion Inc. (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) and its flagship program, The Nest Coffee House. Our little nonprofit has a big mission to change the lives of young adults with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and related conditions. When you attend or donate to Lantern Illumination Celebration 2024, you’re providing support and event access for the most vulnerable members of our community. Together we change lives!
Can’t make it but still want to support our mission? You can provide admission to tri-town special education students, neurodiverse young adults, and other folks who otherwise would not be able to attend by making a donation below!
